How to Download Instagram Highlights (Saved Stories)
Highlights are the stories a profile owner decided to keep. They sit in circles under the bio and, unlike regular stories, they do not expire after 24 hours. That permanence makes them the most-downloaded story content of all.
To download a highlight, open it on Instagram and copy its link, then paste it into a highlights downloader. The tool lists the items inside the highlight — videos and photos — so you can save the ones you want.
Highlights are commonly used for FAQs, product catalogues, travel diaries and event recaps, which is why people save them: a shop's price list, a restaurant's menu, a tutorial series. Saving them offline means you keep that reference even if the profile later changes or deletes it.
Only public highlights can be downloaded. If a profile is private, or a highlight belongs to a private account, no honest tool can fetch it — and sites that promise otherwise should be treated as scams.
Keep the same personal-use rule in mind. A highlight saved for your own reference is fine; republishing someone's highlight content as your own is not, even if it has been public for years.
