How to Download Instagram Videos, Reels, Stories & Photos
One method works everywhere: copy the link, paste it, download. Here it is, device by device.
The universal 3 steps
- Step 1: Copy the link from Instagram (Share → Copy Link).
- Step 2: Paste it into the matching downloader on this site.
- Step 3: Tap Download and save the original file.
iPhone (Safari)
- Open Instagram, tap Share on the post and choose Copy Link.
- Open Safari and paste the link into the downloader box.
- Tap Download. The file saves to Files > Downloads — long-press it, Share, Save Video to move it to Photos.
Android (Chrome)
- In Instagram, tap Share and choose Copy Link.
- Open Chrome, paste the link — many tools auto-submit on paste.
- Tap Download. The file appears in your Gallery or Downloads folder.
Windows / Mac (any browser)
- Copy the post link from instagram.com or the app.
- Paste it into the downloader and press Download.
- The MP4 or JPG saves to your Downloads folder. If it opens in a tab instead, right-click and choose Save Video As.
Troubleshooting
- Private, removed or age-restricted posts cannot be downloaded — this is a privacy protection, not a bug.
- If a download opens instead of saving, long-press (phone) or right-click (PC) and choose the save option.
- If a link fails, copy it again — a truncated link is the most common cause.
